i really hate

addison shepherd. really. she didn't even flinch when he was apologizing and she acknowledged the fact that it was his fault. it was never his fault to begin with - people are forgetting that she's the one that started this by having an affair in the first place. he left because SHE's the one that had the affair WITH HIS BEST FRIEND! arrrggghhh. now i hope meredith chooses derek. he deserves something right. finn's nice and all. but still.
but benjamin was cool that he was so observant and able to speak his mind. and it made all of them think - is cristina selfish? is meredith sleeping with the brain surgeon?
one of the nurses was watching grey's in the empty room while waiting for an admit and they said that they had a patient at a different hospital that really came in with a tree in him. i don't know if it still had the leaves, but for sure there was a branch in him. crazy huh?

i suck

i suck as a friend. first i forget birthdays. now i'm standing people up for lunch - people that drive far away to meet for lunch and i don't hear my alarm because i worked last night. i hate working nights and then trying to return to normalcy/

totally behind

so i've been playing catch up on life and so here are the pictures from lara's baptism and Gomez (my godfather)'s installation as pastor of St. Linus. I haven't had a chance to upload all of my hundreds of pictures on my site so these will have to do for now. here goes:

so as i said, this is lara's baptism cake - what was left of it when we got there. late because i went to gomez's installation (at 11 AM) and had worked the night before (meaning I went to sleep at 8:30, woke up at 10 and left to go to Mass) so by the time we went to the baptism reception I was dead tired. plus dana kept talking to me on the way. haha.
this is us as we are about to leave - it gets dark in the valley! that's me and day and the kims! it got really cold too! dana had my jacket on and i had to steal it back so she ended up with lovette's.
i think this little girl is so adorable. really. she's so cute. this is drexel - auntie laine's daughter. cuteness all around!
that's me and reg - i miss her! she avoids me now because of this thing called "school" whatever. just kidding.

annika has been trained by who knows who that i always have a camera. so as soon as i got there she said "NO PICTURES!" and this is what i got.
this was the last couple of shots at gomez's installation. they made this huge picture of him for the front of the hall and joan and i HAD to pose by it. isn''t it funny? we could never have it in our houses. he would just be staring at us the whole time. too weird. but great picture to pose with. haha.
and this is the godchildren shot. gomez is all of our godfathers (jenn, joan and me by Confirmation and Celeste and Isaiah by Baptism) and yes, we're all Filipino.

in the ghetto

i'll post pictures later but for now i'll just say that i had a lot of fun. thanks for letting me vent my anger - i'm not angry anymore. and thanks for letting me be a girl - i miss the estrogen sometimes. although i work with mostly women, it's not the same when just sitting and talking with your girlfriends. and thus, i thank you for the good times. until the next ghetto spa night - love y'all!

i knew i liked that song. i called them snow planet but they're called snow patrol. i really like that song and it calms me ever time i hear it on the radio. and today i heard it when i watched the season finale of grey's. now the song got even better.

vegas for drinks

so we went up to vegas for a couple days before my birthday and here are a couple of pix. i haven't had time to fully upload all of my pictures - because i literally have hundreds that are waiting to be posted but i need at least 3 days to be fully updated. hopefully next week i'll be able to have some "me" time to post my pictures - one of my most favorite hobbies!
anyway, here are some of my favorite vegas pix from our last trip.
drinking "paris romance" at mon ami - these were pretty strong because i seriously got buzzed after this one drink! either that or i'm getting really weak!
this is the best thing on their menu - it's this warm cheesy thing with marinara sauce and crispy bread. definitely yummy!
these are my $150. gift certificates. we had originally gone back in march for cel's birthday and had the worst service ever! so i wrote a complaint letter and ended up with $150. for free food and drink - hence the paris romances. free food is even more yummy!
joey's a dorko. we liked the long curtains. you've got to see the matching dress and shoes - i love 'em! i'll wear them again soon but i love the matching part. when i walked into mina's house (i had previously told her about the matching dress and shoes) she looked straight at my feet and said "you can't wear your outfit with those cheesy toes!" and so i had to give myself an impromptu pedicure. and she had perfectly matching nail polish! i should have done a close up on my feet!
here's the dorkwad in joey again. i bought joey this black shirt and had never given it to him and so i brought it so he could wear it in vegas. little did we know that j mo would pack the same shirt - plus they were both in jeans and docs. so here they are dueling.
we were at bellagio and this guy gave me and mina free drink tickets to this bar called caramel. so my and i went in and then texted the boys to follow. the music was good but i am seriously happy that i don't have to do the bar/club scene - it's so intimidating and looks so uncomfortable.

they're all the same height! vince had to stand in the middle and separate the black shirts.
so we went back to mina and danny's place and we ended up playing kings, jablowski and indian poker - seen here. we got a little tipsy needless to say.

at these two ... i think we were telling a "story" during kings. it was quite funny because we kept talking about "my .. . dog... during ... the... war" it's a long story.
then mina busted out with her white coat, dentist glasses and her model teeth ...
and she examined me ...
this is the next night when we got our drinks from the place by imperial palace. i love these drinks - they're like $15 with a free glass and loads of fun!

saturday we went to lunch at paris and then went to stateline and headed home to prep for the pool party. good times as always.

a pool party

so we just came back from vegas on saturday (i'll post those pix later) and then i got ready for sunday's birthday pool party potluck at joey's grandma's house. the bbq was supposed to start at 1 PM but joey just got off work at 12 and the lasagna was still cooking at 12 30 so I called my brother and dana (the only people that are on time) and told them to purposely come late - at least 1:30PM. so I got there at 1:10 PM and started setting up and grish and steph were the first ones to arrive at 1:30 PM. then we started the salo salo bbq - pork skewers - and the cheeseburgers - yummy!

here's me and gomez. a side story about gomez. this is the first time that gomez met joey's grandma. so they were introduced and gomez said "nice to meet you - i've heard so much about you in the last 10 years" he meant he had also heard about her when joey and jenn were together. so when he left, he was saying bye to everyone in the kitchen - joey's mom and dad, grandma, aunt and uncle and gomez said "bye, see you all soon" and there was a pause and everyone said "at the wedding" and started laughing. great.

me - in my semi-buzzed stupor goes on to tell the following story "yeah, this one time she got me something from there and it was called "look better naked" and i didn't know if it was very appropriate"

christina - robert's girlfriend goes "if it's coming from your mother-in-law then it's appropriate"

joey's mom says "we all have to get here somehow, might as well look good doing so"
