insurance
i hate to always complain but i've been on the phone with the hospital in hawaii and blue shield for the past half hour back and forth. it sucks. they're still billing me from my hospital visit back in january. i received the $2482.12 bill that was paid for (except for my co-pay) which i paid back in may. and then i received another separate bill for $317.95 for the er physician. i called blue shield and they said they never got the invoice. i called the hospital and they said that they received 2 denials already so that the patient has to pay for it. they gave me a number that the insurance people can call. i called blue shield back and they said they must have sent it to the wrong place because they only have the original invoice that has already been paid. i'm like what is going on here? anyway, i'm supposed to send it back with a different number. maybe that will work, grrrrrrrrrr....

good thing you have archives. because i had to look back to remember why you have such a humungo hospital bill.
and i have a tickle in my throat. i really hope it doesn't turn into a tonsillar abscess. what causes that anyway?
i don't know what causes it really. when i went to the er down there, they said that it happens at least once a week on the island. when's the last time that you were there?
