Here I Am

so times have been tough lately ... the economy sucks and unfortunately we've felt part of the crunch. but we go along day by day. and then we get sad. but God really knows how to keep a girl's spirits up... so yesterday at Mass I think He was really trying to talk to me and tell me everything will be ok. tbe whole homily was about "He Ain't Heavy ... he's my brother," you know, carrying people along their way. and then we said a prayer after the procession of faith, praying for the world and its state, not to despair. and my heart started to feel heavy. and then of course the song before communion is Here I Am, Lord - my favorite song from St. Johns - always has and always will be. and of course I started to tear. and then came the song during Communion - my favorite song from Liwanag - Refiner's Fire. There were the words right there - "my heart's one desire, is to be holy, set apart for you, Lord, I chose to be holy, set apart for you, my Master, ready to do your will." ok Lord. so here I am, ready to do your will.
