Happy Easter

He is Risen Alleluia Amen. Happy Easter everyone! It was so beautiful to see all of the color in Church today. And of course, we saw loads and loads of people. Joey and I got there while the other Mass was still on, but it was a mad rush once Mass was over because people wanted to sit. The homily was awesome and it kind of made me think. St. John referred to himself as the other disciple and he let Simon Peter go inside the cave before him although he was the one that ran there first. Interesting. Anyway, it was a beautiful Mass. After Mass, Joey went to work and I went over to my brother's place to have some Easter eggs. They always come out in reverse order.

Lucas got lucky - he found the ones with all the money.

Aren't the cute? This is where they had to wait while the eggs were being hidden. Happy Easter again everyone!

too strong

so yesterday we went to pick up Joey's prescription at Costco. they had originally told us 7 - 14 days and yesterday was day 14. I went to the bathroom as he picked them up. When I got out, he was standing there talking to the guy with no glass case in his hand and he said let's go. I asked where his glasses were. He said that they had already tried to make 2 lenses for him but that because his prescription is so strong (he has a really bad astigmatism) the lenses have broken when they tried to put the anti-reflective coat on. They're on lens try # 3 and then they'll hopefully be here by next Thursday. How sad huh?
