airports and breakups

i just talked to my friend on the phone this morning. her man broke up with her last night. he went away on vacation and didn't ask her to pick him up from the airport. when he arrived on sunday, he didn't even call to tell her that he was in. then it got into a whole thing last night that he didn't think that his feelings were growing. in any case, i was talking to another friend a couple days ago and she was like "isn't that when you felt it too before? when you didn't pick up your ex- from the airport?" I thought about it and was like, yeah, actually, it was. He had left for a two week vacation and I did not drop him off or pick him up. That's when I realized it was over. maybe the same thing happened. weird.
